"I have been a patient of Dr. Simon for about five years. I am 77 years old and had full upper dentures since 1995. In 2007 I consulted with Dr. Simon an a dental implant specialist about the possibility of having dental implants an a permanent full upper bridge. I specified that I did not desire a sinus lift to supplement bone structure for the implants.
It was a challenging endeavour. The dental implant specialist implanted four titanium posts in my upper jaw two of which were at an angle to the plane of my jaw. Dr. Simon fitted a permanent denture fastened to the implants. The fit ha to be within one millimeter or less in order to provide adequate structure. The permanent denture has been in one year and I am very pleased with the results. No more messy denture cream or movement of dentures when eating. Most important is the ability to eat anything including corn on the cob.
Also I grind my teeth when asleep. As a consequence over the years my lower teeth eroded significantly. Dr. Simon recently recapped some of them and relined the rest.
Consulting and working with Dr. Simon over the years has been a positive experience."
